Scott devoted over 35 years to helping deserving entrepreneurs finance their concepts in order to realize their business dreams. His career began in 1967 when he helped two young men finance their business concept which was the beginning of the company we know today as “Best Buy”. Since then he has helped structure and finance hundreds of entrepreneurs, making their business dreams a reality and improving the quality of life for thousands of others by creating jobs along the way.

This desire to help budding entrepreneurs is the catalyst that drove Scott and Sue to develop the Entrepreneur's Place community of websites which includes BizClassifiedsPlace.com. “I've been rich and I've been poor,” says Scott. “And rich is better,” muses Sue, with a twinkle in her eye! Scott says he has never met a successful person who didn't attain success on a stepladder of failures and recoveries, learning each time, picking up the pieces and going at it again.

“We are entrepreneurs, always have been, always will be. We're free! We sail! We either work or we don't work. It's up to us,” Sue points out.

Scott adds, “If entrepreneurs fail, they fail. There's no one to point the finger to but themselves. They are the ones who make it happen. A challenge is a marvelous thing… it scares the devil out of us at times, but that's part of the fun!”
